its not released yet, its not even sure it will be released in a form you can download and install yourself.

You mean "quiet", I know its a hard word, (like witch/which) I made the same kind of mistakes in the past.
Good question, wish I knew. My own theory is that indeed they might have something to do with the development of Chrome OS, but thats just me.
Hopefully its something like that instead of simple bankruptcy.
